The heart of Logan Square is marked by a 27-foot-tall stone obelisk
topped with an eagle to celebrate the Illinois Centennial. One of
Chicago's premier up-and-coming neighborhoods, Logan Square has
experienced a migration of younger residents from Lakeview and Wicker

as restaurants, boutiques, and coffee shops. The Taste of Logan Square
is held every August and the Historic Mansion Housewalk is held every
September. Logan Square is an ideal neighborhood for residents looking
to commute to the suburbs. Logan Square is easily accessible from the
Blue El line.
